Set in the historic community of Eatonville, along the Lynch Creek Rd, the course is a USATF certified out and back run. This is a semi secluded, peaceful run that includes views of the creek, wooded areas and pastures. The 5k is a great negative split course as it has a little bit of a climb on the outbound leg.

2013 will be the second annual 10k, runners get to enjoy a scenic tour through town before joining the original 5k course. For the 5k Walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes are welcome, we also have a 1k run for kids 11 and under, and the 10k is for runners only due to traffic and safety concerns. Make sure to stick around for the post race food and awards. Hope to see you all out there!!

We are to proud to announce that we are now teaming up with a local chapter of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association and all the proceeds will be donated to this wonderful non profit organization. A little bit of a background why this is special to me, In 2011 when I first heard word about Riley Taylors condition I knew I wanted to help him out and as someone that dealt with heart issues myself when I was baby it just made sense. What I didn't realize is how strong this young kid is and his spirit is courageous so I wanted to keep helping with the fight and this is how I chose to do so, Thanks to everyone for your support!!

The Taylor family will be at the race this year handing out literature and helping you to become more aware of whats going on.

A little bit about SCAA:

In 2003 NCED ( National Center for Early De fibrillation )_launched a Survivor Network and an Ambassador Network and decided to take a broader look at its mission to include all Sudden Cardiac Arrest issues including ICD therapies. As part of this examination, a decision was made to re-launch as an independent organization --the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association -- governed by its own Board of Directors coming out of the former Survivor and Ambassador communities.

Today, SCAA carries forward the original mission of NCED to broaden public access to early defibrillation and has expanded its efforts to include public awareness of SCA, its prevention and treatments for those at risk, and advocacy for a wide range of issues related to SCA.
